Cimmerian Elegy

Eleventh August - Koktebel - at twelve o'clock - The first thing I felt
reading these lines , it was , after hitting a natural death - 1932                                                                         


Oh , I do not know how it all happened ,
As came a moment of farewell ,
As ever , ever went away
And never , never more than a Do not repeat any joy or torment ,
And there the heart is not Eating ,
And the earth the Cimmerian friend
I do not walk the rocky Path
seashore - home to high ,
Where the merry crowd gathered ,
Where to worship art holy ,
Where they did not know what will be parting
With every minute , and that the care
And never , never more than a
